이 노래는 1998년 개봉 되었던

'니콜라스 케이지' '맥 라이언' 주연의 영화에

삽입되어 많은 사랑을 받았던 히트 곡이다

곡을 부른 '사라 맥라클란'은

1988년 데뷔한 캐나다 출신의 싱어송라이터로서

클래식 피아노 연주와 함께 심금을 울리는 포크 팝으로

우리나라에서도 폭넓은 사랑을 받고있는 가수이다

1988년 1집 음반 'Touch'를 발표한 '

사라 맥라클란'은 캐나다와 미국에서

비교적 성공적인 출발을 했으며

여성 음악인들의 음악 축제인 릴리스 페어(Lilith Fair)가

처음 개최되던 해인 1997년 새앨범 'Surfacing'을 발표하였고

그후 릴리스 페어에서 'Surfacing' 음반의 수록 곡들을 불러

호평을 받으면서 세계적인 명성을 얻게 되었다.
