Once there were green fields kiss by the sun

Once there were valleys where rivers used to run

once there were blue sky with white clouds high above

Once they were part of an everlasting love

We were the lovers who stolled through green fields

 

예전에 태양의 입맞춤을 받던 푸른 초원이 있었지요

예전에 시냇물이 흐르던 골짜기가 있었지요

예전에 흰 구름이 높이 떠 있고하던 푸른 하늘이 있었지요

예전에 끝없이 이어질 것 같은 사랑의 모습이 있었지요

그 푸른 초원을 거닐면서 사랑을 나누곤했던 우리는 연인 사이 였었지요

Where are the green fields that we used to roam?

 

푸른 초원은 햇빛에 메말라 사라져 버리고 말았어요

시냇물이 흐르던 골짜기에서 사라져버린 것이지요

내 마음에 몰아치던 차가운 바람과 함께 사라져 버렸어요

꿈을 놓쳐버린 연인들과 함께 사라져 버리고 말았어요

우리가 거닐곤 했던 이 푸른 초원에서...

나는 그대가 왜 떠났는지를 결코 알 수 없을 것 같아요
